Project sign-off: A warehouse conversion

 I have completed my sign-off for my project. Below is an interior I will discuss through my research; Sam Crawford, in collaboration with SQ Projects, A warehouse conversion interior in Sydney.

My project is based on their interior. However, my main idea is to create a budget warehouse conversion in a small living area that is relatively cheap for a millennial couple compared to the other projects based on loft designs. The inspiration came from the colours and the materials used in the design mentioned in the article. The final project will include two different colours of brick walls and rough concrete floors. In creating an interior, I will use many colours and plants to make it more pleasant.

Tell me a story

The story of my project will present the maximization of emotional expressions and feelings shown in the original pieces. The main idea of this project will be a recreation of the paintings from the Renaissance painted by Polish artists such as Jan Matejko and Lukasz Porebski. At this moment, I'm considering creating portraits of the people presented in their most famous paintings. The concept of this work is focusing on their facial expressions creating busy and messy backgrounds.

Reflection

This post presents my reflection on the second term for art portfolio: During the major project for Art portfolio, I struggled with many aspects of the process, and I can't say I'm fully satisfied with the final outcome as it still might be improved. However, I did my best during these few weeks. I searched the information about the artists, colours and sleep paralysis to present the topic correctly. I have created many side paintings and sketches that I'm satisfied more or less, but it helped me to improve my painting skill and general knowledge about creating. I searched for many helpful materials and used inconvenient tools to get closer to reaching the goal, which was created my best painting until now.  This subject was the most influential for me among the others.
