Website Creation - homepage

Today, I started creating my website on Wix. As the first step of creating my own website, I chose a template that would suit to the interior design website. 


 I edited the homepage's title and changed the font size to 38. I decided to keep the cizel font as it looks good with the temporary background image you will see below.


As the next step, I added new pages to my website, such as a portfolio and about that, you can find the most important information.


 I have changed the copyright on the bottom of my website to the correct date and my name.


As the last step, I have changed the background image on the temporary stock image mentioned above. The image will be changed when the entire website is ready. 


The next post will be a continuation of editing the website my about page.

Tell me a story

The story of my project will present the maximization of emotional expressions and feelings shown in the original pieces. The main idea of this project will be a recreation of the paintings from the Renaissance painted by Polish artists such as Jan Matejko and Lukasz Porebski. At this moment, I'm considering creating portraits of the people presented in their most famous paintings. The concept of this work is focusing on their facial expressions creating busy and messy backgrounds.

Reflection

This post presents my reflection on the second term for art portfolio: During the major project for Art portfolio, I struggled with many aspects of the process, and I can't say I'm fully satisfied with the final outcome as it still might be improved. However, I did my best during these few weeks. I searched the information about the artists, colours and sleep paralysis to present the topic correctly. I have created many side paintings and sketches that I'm satisfied more or less, but it helped me to improve my painting skill and general knowledge about creating. I searched for many helpful materials and used inconvenient tools to get closer to reaching the goal, which was created my best painting until now.  This subject was the most influential for me among the others.
