Draft of major project

This post presents the draft of my major project.

During the process, I found good perspectives to present my work. It may be slightly different in the final project as it's a draft. When I decide about the frames of my work, I will render it, and the final outcome will be available to see on the website in the portfolio section.

Example of rendered photo

To clarify the entire concept, I will use Adobe Photoshop to create a couple informative panels placed in a different section about the photo gallery in the portfolio section. Informing the viewers, for example, about measurements, materials or clients' requests.

Example of one of the panels

About photo galleries with informative panels and the design, I will place the concept panel explaining the main concept of this project.

"Warehouse conversion or Loft conversion is the renovation of warehouses or historical buildings on functional properties. The first loft design was created in 60s New york. Many loft apartments have exposed construction elements; in consequence, the iron columns or structural elements are visible and maximise a raw industrial look.

The main concept of creating my project was to create an interior design for a millennial couple in a raw industrial style compromised with a colourful interior design in style from the 80s, called 80s Deco.

The interior has been designed for a 29 sqm apartment in the centre of Wroclaw in a Historic building."

I will create panels based on my website's design using only 3 colours (white, black and greenish blue) to keep the design minimalistic and readable for a viewer.

Using the photos above, I will create a panel explaining the location and visualise the area of the apartment.

"I have found and designed the apartment near the centre of Wroclaw at the client's request. It's placed a few steps from the parking and the bus stop."

"As one of the clients is a working student, the couple's budget allows them to buy a small measurement apartment near the centre of Wroclaw, being way cheaper than in-centre. In the apartment, the area is the bus stop and the car parking as the couple has a shared car, none of the clients will have a problem with travelling to work or university or trying to find a place for a car. Also, across the main street are located the restaurant and market for daily shopping."

The following panels will inform about furniture and where I can get them, the floor plan and a couple basic information about clients.

"In the interior, by request of the clients, I have tried to use as many colours as possible, not losing the experience of rough design as loft.

As the entire concept is based on old-fashion solutions, the television has been replaced by a whiteboard and prepared for a projector.

The furniture is available or made to order in a small local business called Axel Concept (placed at Trzebnicka 4 in Wroclaw), making vintage furniture."

"The measurement of the apartment has 29 sqm."

That's how present the draft for my major project. The final project will be available soon on my website:
