Reflection on my major project



Personally, I'm satisfied with the final project. There are a couple aspects of this project that may be improved during the following interior design project, but the entire process of creating the design made me realise that interior design is not a progression for me, and it helped me to make the decision to change it. In this project, the concept of clients opened my eyes, and I have noticed it's not as exciting as creating the work for myself with a free hand. I'm worrying continuing this progression may cause quick professional burnout for me, so I'm glad I could try myself in this kind of project before I will start the first year.

This post presents my first ideas about the new project for art portfolio 2. The sketches might be used while painting and sculpting the works for this project. Also, I have done calligraphy specific to the Renaissance as this theme seems the most attractive to me among the others.    At this moment, I am considering recreating some of the paintings in expressionism using the tones, colours and fonts characteristic of this era.

Tell me a story

The story of my project will present the maximization of emotional expressions and feelings shown in the original pieces. The main idea of this project will be a recreation of the paintings from the Renaissance painted by Polish artists such as Jan Matejko and Lukasz Porebski. At this moment, I'm considering creating portraits of the people presented in their most famous paintings. The concept of this work is focusing on their facial expressions creating busy and messy backgrounds.

This post presents my reflection on the second term for art portfolio: During the major project for Art portfolio, I struggled with many aspects of the process, and I can't say I'm fully satisfied with the final outcome as it still might be improved. However, I did my best during these few weeks. I searched the information about the artists, colours and sleep paralysis to present the topic correctly. I have created many side paintings and sketches that I'm satisfied more or less, but it helped me to improve my painting skill and general knowledge about creating. I searched for many helpful materials and used inconvenient tools to get closer to reaching the goal, which was created my best painting until now.  This subject was the most influential for me among the others.
