Welcome post - art portfolio

 Welcome to my blog first time in the second term. Through the last months, I decided to change my progression and rebrand my website and blog from an Interior design portfolio to Fine art.

On holiday I have focused mainly on creating dark art by using acrylic paintings and working with new materials I have never worked with, such as leather. During the holiday, my inspiration and the reason for getting interested in these aspects of art were my favourite serials, movies and music, which taste changed over the past month a little.

    Add some images to show us what you were working on during the break - it will help when we are supporting you to create your project this term.

    Now that your progression route change has been agreed which artists do you want to look at this term? As stated in the class, you were required to include images in this post.

    Also be more specific and talk about WHICH movies, music etc you have looked at.

    What do YOU want to achieve this term? This is a new start for you, Fine Art suits your personality and your way of working. Show us in the blog of the enthusiasm you have to push your work on this term!

This post presents my first ideas about the new project for art portfolio 2. The sketches might be used while painting and sculpting the works for this project. Also, I have done calligraphy specific to the Renaissance as this theme seems the most attractive to me among the others.    At this moment, I am considering recreating some of the paintings in expressionism using the tones, colours and fonts characteristic of this era.

Tell me a story

The story of my project will present the maximization of emotional expressions and feelings shown in the original pieces. The main idea of this project will be a recreation of the paintings from the Renaissance painted by Polish artists such as Jan Matejko and Lukasz Porebski. At this moment, I'm considering creating portraits of the people presented in their most famous paintings. The concept of this work is focusing on their facial expressions creating busy and messy backgrounds.

Reflection

This post presents my reflection on the second term for art portfolio: During the major project for Art portfolio, I struggled with many aspects of the process, and I can't say I'm fully satisfied with the final outcome as it still might be improved. However, I did my best during these few weeks. I searched the information about the artists, colours and sleep paralysis to present the topic correctly. I have created many side paintings and sketches that I'm satisfied more or less, but it helped me to improve my painting skill and general knowledge about creating. I searched for many helpful materials and used inconvenient tools to get closer to reaching the goal, which was created my best painting until now.  This subject was the most influential for me among the others.
