This post presents my final outcome in workshops. We got a task to paint a landscape based on the picture of our choice creating unusual textures on our canvases.
Talk about the textures and process you used and how they have helped you to develop your project outcomes. This is a really nice painting and demonstrates some of the skills you have built up over the past 8 weeks or so. Show off more!
This post presents my first ideas about the new project for art portfolio 2. The sketches might be used while painting and sculpting the works for this project. Also, I have done calligraphy specific to the Renaissance as this theme seems the most attractive to me among the others. At this moment, I am considering recreating some of the paintings in expressionism using the tones, colours and fonts characteristic of this era.
This post presents my reflection on the second term for art portfolio: During the major project for Art portfolio, I struggled with many aspects of the process, and I can't say I'm fully satisfied with the final outcome as it still might be improved. However, I did my best during these few weeks. I searched the information about the artists, colours and sleep paralysis to present the topic correctly. I have created many side paintings and sketches that I'm satisfied more or less, but it helped me to improve my painting skill and general knowledge about creating. I searched for many helpful materials and used inconvenient tools to get closer to reaching the goal, which was created my best painting until now. This subject was the most influential for me among the others. It helped me to improve myself as a painter and directed the way. I discovered a real passion for painting, techniques and styles to express myself as an artist in the future. Also, I noticed my mistakes fro...
As first, while creating this project, I made a base using a bunch of wires and aluminium foil. The used wires were of different thicknesses and lengths. The main element of this construction was a thick wire twisted several times and used as a neck and base by entangling the wire around the wire neck and making the construction more stable. At the end of creating construction, I taped the aluminium foil in case it came off the base. When the base was ready, I could start placing the clay on the base. During this process, the head was too heavy to keep it straight. It fell down, so I have been forced to make a thicker neck and placed more clay on the back of my sculpture as a pillar. When the entire base was covered, I could start including more details in my work, such as chest muscles, collarbones and face. When all of the details had been done, I started creating the texture of my sculpture by using some tools. I took a "wire texture brush" and brushed it around the sculp...
