Sketches - mini project
This post presents sketches of my mini project supporting 3D outcomes for the major project for Art portfolio. The main inspiration for this sculpture was Alberto Giacometti, which created the sculptures in disproportional shapes and raw textures. The main idea of this mini-project is creating a 2 sculptures in Giacometti's style and test new techniques, the same as improving the currently known ones.
Planning the sculptures, I decided to create 2 clay busts in disproportional bodies. One of them would have a long neck and disproportionally large head compared to the rest of its body. However, the second one will have a massive chaw and hump on its back.
Add a bit more to this - drawings look good but could be better photographed and some visual research alongside this (either from Bacon or Giacometti) would better show how you are thinking.
